Welcome to Pokemon Headcanons.

What is this tumblr about? Well, you know how in the Pokemon games, we learn a bit about the characters and what kind of Pokemon they train, and that’s basically it? Well, that allows for a large amount of leeway for us to fill in the gaps, let us come up with background and story for them, maybe flesh out the character a bit more if they seem too one-dimensional. An example would be something like this, taken from a common James Bond fan theory;

“James Bond” is a codename - this is the reason why his appearance is never consistent through the films. Just like other MI6 agents in the series, James Bond is a pseudonym taken by the lead 007 agent at the time. This explains “his” changes in character between actors.

See how fun that was to read? It adds a layer of characterization that we may have never gotten from a director or writer.

Within this blog, you can submit your headcanons. You, yes, YOU, get to share how characters are seen. Use the Ask/Submit buttons to submit your headcanon. You don’t have to come up with something super-fleshed out, but please try to make it interesting (don’t just say something like “x is gay” or something, flesh out their orientation or something). If the canon is small enough, I’ll go ahead and post it photoshopped onto a picture relevant to that headcanon, most likely a character.

Yes, I realize this is the same basic idea that the other Pokemon Headcanons blog had, but that blog seems to be all but defunct.

Please, however, keep in mind that I am a busy poor college student, so submissions may take a while to be posted.
